Option to receive messages from teachers and room parents ONLY or a mute button
Program in a "Mute" button so one can selectively mute members so their post won't appear in your feed. There are users who use this app to complain 24/7 and I have to sift through these messages to find the important information. I downloaded the app to connect with the teachers and room parents not hear about individual issues that should be directed towards the district and administration.

create a mute function where you can selectively stop posts from certain people from appearing on your feed. Some parents are just serial posters that use Konstalla as their private google or complain about personal problems. Would be helpful not to see those posts in the future.

Emoji reactions for posts and comments.
It would be nice to be able to add a reaction to a post or comment. This will prevent long feeds of people just replying with a reaction.

Inline viewing of basic file attachments.
In the Files & Links section, files simply download when clicked. It would be nice if these could be viewed in browser, if it's a file type that can be handled by a browser (PDFs, etc).

Posts not being marked as read until page is refreshed.
As soon as I click an item, or maybe after a few second delay, the post/message should be marked as read.

Create a "Poll" or "Vote" feature
We often need to come to a consensus for meeting date/time, etc. Right now we have to use other tools, e.g. Doodle, to poll people's availability. It will be nice to have this feature built-in within Konstella.

Mute Notifications For Own Posts
When I post something to Konstella, I've noticed that I get notified about my own post. Which seems superfluous, and is probably confusing for some users.

Thank you for the suggestion. By “posts”, you’re talking about the Announcements/Sign-Ups/Events/…, but not the Chat Messages. We do not email your own Chat Messages. If your experience is different, let me know. In regards to the announcements/…, we used not to send the message to the creator. However, it created so much confusions. Creators always emailed us “why was my post not sent”, not realizing they sent to everyone else, just not to the creators. We made the change years ago to simply send to everyone. It seemed to work fine.

Add contacts to the phone from Konstella
Ability to add the contact infomraiton of the parents in your class:

Thank you for the suggestion! Today, Room Leads can move children and parents to their rooms and modify their names. In addition to these things, the Konstella Admins can modify phone #s and addresses for parents. We’ll discuss the topic internally and see if we can make the same features available for Room Leads as well. Thank you!

Unified feature set across all platforms
Make discussions available in the app and chat available on the web interface. Right it feels like to separate and equally crippled ways to access what should be the same info.
